Meet Epiphany Adams, LMSW
Culturally Responsive Trauma Therapist | EMDR Basic Trained
Hi, I’m Epiphany, and I use she/her pronouns. I provide individual therapy for children ages six and older, teens, and adults, as well as couples therapy for adults. My work is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and grounded in the belief that clients are the experts on their own lived experiences.
I bring curiosity, warmth, humor, and creativity into therapy when appropriate. Together, we can explore how past experiences shaped the ways you learned to cope, build greater self-compassion, and develop patterns that better support the life and relationships you want now.

Who May Be a Good Fit
Epiphany may be a good fit if you are navigating trauma, anxiety, anger, attachment concerns, identity exploration, or recurring difficulties in your relationships. You may recognize that certain coping strategies once helped you survive but no longer support the person you are becoming.
She works with children, teens, young adults, and adults experiencing transitions or trying to better understand their emotions, identities, and relationships. Epiphany provides affirming care for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ clients and approaches conversations about culture and identity with curiosity, humility, and respect.
Epiphany also provides therapy for adults who want to understand their relationship patterns, strengthen communication, and create new ways of connecting. Her goal is to help clients develop emotional insight, self-compassion, and meaningful change without judgment.
What Makes Epiphany’s Approach Different
Epiphany integrates trauma treatment with culturally responsive and strengths-based care. She recognizes that emotional health is shaped not only by individual experiences but also by relationships, culture, identity, community, and the environments in which people live.
Her style is flexible and collaborative. She draws from EMDR, TF-CBT, DBT, play therapy, and narrative therapy according to each client’s age, goals, and needs rather than expecting one approach to fit everyone.
Outside her clinical work, Epiphany enjoys reading, writing, anime, manga, gaming, and gaming communities. These interests often help her connect with clients through creativity, storytelling, identity, meaning-making, and play.
