Meet Chelsea Mojallali, LMHC
Clinical Leadership | IFS Level 2 Therapist | EMDR Trained Therapist
Hi, I’m Chelsea. I’m a Long Island native who loves cooking, traveling, being near the water, and learning new creative skills. Spending meaningful time with my son and husband is very important to me. We enjoy being outside together and traveling to visit friends across the country—from San Diego to Maine.
In therapy, I bring warmth, creativity, and genuine curiosity. My hope is that we can work together to help you heal from what you have experienced, reconnect with yourself, and cultivate more presence in your life, your relationships, and your sense of Self.

Who May Be a Good Fit
Chelsea may be a good fit if you have experienced trauma and want to move beyond simply managing its effects. You may recognize patterns connected to your family history, relationships, birth experience, postpartum period, or parenting journey but feel unsure how to change them.
She understands that trauma is experienced differently by each person. Experiences that may appear “small” from the outside can still create emotional roadblocks, affect relationships, and make it difficult to live as fully or authentically as you would like.
Chelsea is particularly interested in helping clients explore generational trauma and interrupt patterns that no longer serve them. As a mother, she also brings personal understanding of the intense changes that can accompany pregnancy, birth, postpartum adjustment, caregiving, and parenting.
What Makes Chelsea’s Approach Different
Chelsea combines structured trauma treatment with creativity, curiosity, and a collaborative therapeutic relationship. Her background in theatre and music influences her appreciation for expression, identity, personal meaning, and the many ways people communicate their experiences.
She integrates EMDR, IFS-informed parts work, cognitive behavioral techniques, mindfulness, existential theory, and creative approaches according to each client’s needs. Rather than applying one method to everyone, Chelsea works with clients to understand which approaches feel supportive and useful.
Clients can expect a space where their feelings and experiences are validated while they are also supported in examining patterns, beliefs, and responses that are creating difficulty in their lives.
Experience and Training
Experience With Trauma, Motherhood, and Generational Patterns
Chelsea works with teens and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and patterns shaped by earlier family experiences. She is particularly interested in helping clients understand generational trauma and change patterns that no longer support the lives or relationships they want.
As a mother, Chelsea also understands the significant emotional and identity changes that can accompany pregnancy, birth, the postpartum period, and parenting. She supports mothers and caregivers experiencing birth-related trauma, postpartum adjustment, parenting stress, relationship changes, and the challenge of caring for others while trying to remain connected to themselves.
